HeBrew Coffee & Eats

Date of Visit: May 27, 2025

We stopped at HeBrews Coffee & Eats as part of Our Koffee Trail as we were going through Louisiana on our way to Arizona. Usually Mik doesn’t go in when we make coffeeshop stops, but we had been driving through heavy rain all morning and we expected to end up going through another storm soon (ended up missing it), so he wanted to get out to at least shift his butt to different seating for a bit.

Dad did not realize when we turned on to the street that the place was right there, so he ended up pulling in at the far end of the building. There is an accessible marked spot on the end closest to the building and ramp, but since no one was there, we just unloaded and went across the parking lot. The parking lot is gravel, but even parking in the accessible spot does not avoid that entirely as it is also gravel at end of the ramp.

Inside is spacious for the ordering and seating areas. Mik did end up using the bathroom, which is a little tight to get into and close the door, but understandable considering this is a house converted to a business.

We all enjoyed our drinks (lattes for Mom, Mik, and me and smoothie for Dad) and if it works out time wise next time through the area, we will stop again.
